A private mountain retreat in the heart of the Adirondacks — where family reconnects, nature restores, and the stars remind you who you are.
Our Story
We built Blue Bear Cottage because we believe everyone deserves to feel at home in the wild. Eighty private acres of Adirondack woods — ancient pines, open meadows, and a mountain that's all yours to climb — became the canvas for something deeper than a vacation.
This is a place where kids find their trail legs, where grownups remember how to breathe slowly, and where the only agenda is the season outside your window. We designed every corner of this retreat with our own family in mind, and that care shows in every detail.
We're proud to be a Black-owned space in one of America's most beloved natural landscapes — and we welcome every family who wants to step off the pavement and onto something real. Come as you are. Leave restored.

A Glimpse Inside
Every angle tells the same story: peace, beauty, and the feeling of having found your place.
This place is genuinely unlike anything we've experienced on Airbnb. The land is breathtaking — we hiked every morning and sat on the porch every evening just listening to the forest. Our kids didn't want to leave. Neither did we.
